In 2015 the Series 7 chair has celebrated its 60 years anniversary. This occasion has been celebrated by making two special editions of the chair only available in 2015. To mark the 60th anniversary of this iconic chair, each chair has a golden plate mounted on the underside of the shell in two new colours, deep dark blue and pale pink. A masculine edition with a deep dark blue lacquer shell and powder-coated burnished legs. And a feminine edition dressed in pale pink lacquer with 24-ct gold-plated legs. Side by side, the chairs highlight and complement each other’s significance. The chairs are designed both to stand out on their own and two complement each other and the space around them.
